(in)design Creative Community...an (in)courage Group for Creative Souls

Friends,  I'd like to take today to announce the opening of the second session of (in)courage community groups!  More specifically, I'd like to direct you to (in)design Creative Community,  the group I co-lead alongside the uber-talented and compassionate Tammy Perlmutter.  We're a growing community of women, literally located across the globe (across the globe, y'all!) who are passionate about living a spiritual and creative life...and who are looking for like-minded, creative women to share in the blessings of the master designer, Himself.  If you're one of these women, won't you join us?

(in)design is a community group for creatives. We are his poiema–his poem, his workmanship, the beloved creation of his Spirit, his hands.  We create because He first created us, in his design, reflecting the part of Him that glories in making all things new. Making us new. We are still in design!

(in) design will be a place to connect with and invest in other women who share your passion and  vision for the arts. We want you to join with us as we grow deeper in Jesus together, as artists and disciples. Our world is saturated with media, let’s make a little corner for ourselves, to be fully ourselves, and be present to those who need a safe place to be. Making art is worship. Let’s do it together.

Tammy Perlmutter & I will be your community group leaders. We have prayed that God would bring women to us that he wants us to invest in. It might be you! We want to create a place where we can let down our guard, be authentic, be honest, and be loved. We want to pray for one another. We want to encourage you in your gifts, spiritual as well as artistic! We want to ask hard questions, wrestle with you for the answers, and be lavish with grace. We want to create a place for soul care and give you the opportunity to provide it for one another.

What can you expect from (in)design?

• We will be connecting with you daily on Facebook and Twitter, from February 12th to April 26th--the (in)RL Conference!
• When all the women have joined, we will appoint prayer partners so you will be praying for each other.
• We will be addressing relevant topics, from a biblical viewpoint, that you choose.
• We will meet once a month online, the second Sunday of the month.
• Tammy and I will be available for personal accountability and prayer, and will help you find other members of the group who may be able to walk alongside you.
• We will help you connect to the larger (in)courage community.
