What? You've never pulled off the road into someone's front yard and jumped out, running full speed, before the car was completely stopped? No? Just me? Mmmm-kay...
I spotted this mirror from half a block away & knew it was going to be mine. I didn't have time for chit-chat or haggling...I had a swim meet to get to! How much? Five dollars? Sold! I was back in the car with my new mirror in under 2 minutes. And that, friends, is drive-by yard-saling at its finest.
I love this mirror. It has a chunky design, great detail, and cost me only five bucks. I had 43,782 ideas for my new mirror before we even got to the swim meet that day...but it sat on my fireplace mantel as-is for the rest of the summer. It worked...even in its decidedly shabby chic style.
Now it's October and the freshness of white, yellow, and sea-foam green doesn't quite work. I need to cozy up the place. My once shabby-chic white mirror is now...Joker purple. No joke.
I'm reeeaaally trying hard to embrace Fall this year...so here's my take on it. The first of many looks of my mirror.
